PAYTON Trout

I was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. My first introduction to singing was church. At the age of five I told my pastor that I was "retiring from singing at church", as I would be booked and busy with my preforming career. Sadly, in a very small town talent agents looking for child actors were hard to come by. That didn't stop me from making the decision to turn my passion into my career.

 

Fast forward two decades, I have graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre and an Associates in Arts. I have had the opportunity to work with many professional theatres across Kentucky and Cincinnati: Jenny Wiley Theatre, Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, Mountain Movers, Cincinnati Landmark Productions, etc. My favorite roles have been Clyde Barrow, Prince Ben, and Gabe Goodman.

Over the past year I have had the privilege to perform on the Regent Seven Seas Explorer with NCLH as a featured vocalist. Being able to travel the world while pursuing my love for theatre has been an amazing experience.

If you can't find me onstage, I am home putting on a full Beyonce concert in my living room.
